I not only require my upper-division and graduate
students to join this listserv, but I also invite
selected individuals on this listserv to appear
as "guest speakers."

The individuals are subscribed to the listserv so
the students may ask them questions.  Dave Mulroy,
Nancy Patterson, Ed Vavra, Dawn Burnette, and Craig
Hancock have graciously chatted with my students.
