I state:
I wholeheartedly agree.  ALL the abuse needs to stop.  I'm tired of having
to filter through diatribes on all sides in a vain hope that something
important about grammar will be said amidst raving invective.

Please note - I am not taking sides.  I'm seeing raving invective flying
from several people.  I'm equally tired of it all.
