Hi--I've been a member of ATEG for a long time, but I'm a new
subscriber. Here, in my department, we've been puzzled by the
following sentence and we'd like to hear your reaction/analysis:

I have evidence that he plagiarized.

Our question is this: What exactly is the function of "that he
plagiarized"?

Thanks for your help.
