Congratulations on your fine approach to teaching! The responses of 
your students are a testament to the value of not just acknowledging 
but respecting and honoring the language they grew up with. May I quote 
your message?

By the way, I don't think Bill Cosby would approve. I haven't read 
absolutely everything he's said about "Ebonics" and teaching, but what 
I have heard is not tolerant of the dialect.
