Another RK question:

In diagramming this sentence, where does the adverbial/prepositional phrase
go?

At the party, John sang and danced.

The sentence obviously has a compound verb; the prep. phrase applies to both
verbs.

How is that shown?

Subject: "Perhaps" on a Reed-Kellogg diagram

"The wayakin might appear to the young initiate by taking the form of a
bird or a deer or perhaps a strange human-like figure."

In doing a Reed-Kellogg diagram of this sentence, where would you place
"perhaps"?
