Dear recent ATEG listserv subscribers,

Hi! Welcome to the Assembly for the Teaching of English Grammar Listserv.
The list has grown to 170 members in the past year-and-a-half. Although the
traffic on the list is modest, I've found that the conversations and
questions are interesting and helpful, ranging from issues of syntax to
discussions of the place of grammar instruction in the curriculum.

In addition to this list, there is a WWW site for our group. The address
is: http://www.pct.edu/ateg/ateg.htm. Please visit. Ed Vavra has done a
good job with the pages, and he is always looking for ways to improve them.

Please feel free to post questions. To paraphrase Horton: "a question is a
question no matter how small."
