I hope I speak for others when I say that, while I hate the spam (esp. the
sex-related stuff!), it's not enough yet to convince me to dump the list.
 
A friend of mine is digging up an address that you can send spam notices
to. Spam is apparently legal, but they must include an address you can
respond to; most addresses in spam don't work when you write to them. If
that happens, they should be reported to the authorities. That's the
address I'm waiting for. If anyone wants it, let me know; or perhaps I
will post it to the list.
