                                       This intensive workshop will provide
English Language Teachers with
                                       tools and techniques for analyzing,
modifying, and developing courses
                                       for language teaching. Participants
will look at issues to do with
                                       selecting and grading content,
selecting, sequencing, and integrating
                                       learning tasks and activities, and
selecting assessment tools and
                                       techniques.

JAPANESE LANGUAGE TEACHING WORKSHOP
 Title:         Course Design and Evaluation

                                       This workshop examines the factors
which must be considered in
                                       developing programs for Japanese
language learning, such as learner
                                       styles, the learning environment,
study resources and educational
                                       ethics. Participants will be
encouraged to examine how much learners
                                       should be involved in course design,
how both teachers and learners
                                       should improve existing courses in a
cooperative fashion and how
                                       assessment relates to course design.
