I have nothing of substance to add on the go Xing construction. The
thread has been interesting and informative. One small memory. What
Joanna is calling a construction is what (if I remember correctly)
Bolinger (and perhaps other British linguists) called concatenations.
The discussion stirred a memory, lit up a few synapses or something.
Not bad, since I often feel like the protagonist of "Memento,"
forgetting everything I haven't written on my hand.

Did I just add a comment to the thread?
