For those of you who had inquired about Newport Asia Pacific University's
scholarships, just to let you know, the scholarships are continuing to
increase. In fact, two full scholarships were added to the scholarship
program just last week, bringing the number of full and partial
scholarships to 64. Due to the overwhelming number of questions regarding
the scholarship programs, I have not been able to respond to all of the
inquiries yet, but will continue to answer them in the order they were
received and welcome new queries. However, I'll ask that you please read
through the scholarship information on the website thoroughly before asking
any questions so as to avoid unnecessary repetition. For this info, you
may go to the website at http://www.asiapacificu.edu and then click on the
button that says "scholarships".

Professor Nunan's next TESOL cohort for the MS online degree program in
TESOL or online certificate programs in either Second Language Teaching and
Learning or Grammar for Language Teachers, begins on June 1st, 1998 and
each course is limited to a maximum of twelve students. Those wishing to
apply for a scholarship for the June 1st cohort, must apply no later than
May 15th.

Cordially,

Dave Povinsky
