for yourself and your students is the S.I.H. SCHOOLS PACK of
handwriting-improvement resources and materials - now made available
worldwide as part of the S.I.H. (Society for Italic Handwriting) GOOD
HANDWRITING INITIATIVE.

The S.I.H. SCHOOLS PACK includes the following:

- a set of 40 handwriting worksheets created by British
handwriting-researcher/teacher CHRISTOPHER JARMAN, a member of the
Handwriting Interest Group based at the University of Reading. These
worksheets are designed to take the student all the way from beginner's
scribbles, through separate-letter writing, to a simple and fluent cursive.

- a handwriting guidebook by Nancy Winters, a British handwriting-teacher
who is also a calligrapher
(This book can be bought separately from the rest of the Pack if desired -
also, it can be ordered with just the 40 worksheets but without the rest of
the Pack: see ORDERS AND PRICING below for more information)

- a sample "Tri-Go" pencil-grip designed to help writers achieve an
efficient and comfortable grasp on their writing-tools

- a sample "Berol Hand Huggers" pen - this pen has a special triangular
shape: to encourage a proper pen-hold ... and to keep the pen from rolling
off the desk!

- another sample Berol pen called the "Handwriting Pen" which is designed
to generally facilitate the task of good handwriting

- a plywood cut-out letter for school use (and ordering information for
complete alphabet-sets of such letters)

- an information sheet about other handwriting-resources

- a CD-ROM which contains handwriting-software demo programs and other
educational-software demo programs, as well as a handwriting-font.

I have seen these materials and they are fantastic - some of the best stuff
