I misquoted my own survey results. About a third of the respondents did
not notice 'errors' of the variety of changes underway in the standard
dialect. But about a quarter of the respondents noticed the error but
were not bothered by it. By comparison, 70+ percent of the respondents
were bothered a lot by the dialect differences.
