It is this sort of thinking that will doom the movement.  It will no more be successful than a working group in math that decides to change lowest common denominator to "height-challenged, popular denominator" to avoid the negative connotations of "low" and "common".  It ain't gonna happen.  Beliefs to the contrary are delusional.
