"Cruel to Be Kind" was recorded for the soundtrack of "The Curve", but for
some reason was not included on the soundtrack cd, and (my guess is) the
track most likely will never be released, unless for some reason the band
retained the rights to the recording when they left TVT.
Back in April, this is what Black Park had to say about "Insane in the
Brain": "In recording news...The Connells have been asked to record a cover
of
Cypress Hill's "Insane In The Brain" for Xemu Records' upcoming covers
compilation album. The goal for this project is to feature established
artists covering hit songs that are of a distinctly different style."
Xemu Records has a website, but there is no information there about this
release at all.
