The fan in me says "great idea"; the securities lawyer in me says "hmm, a
kinda expensive thing to do...." - but I'm happy to talk about it if people

Why doesn't the band just sell/issue stock in itself?  Do an IPO?  We could
own a piece of our favorite band, insuring that they are well-funded to keep
putting out music for as long as we like.  The guys & Blackpark can retain
enough shares to have the majority in voting power.

I'm doing my "Due Diligence" right now, listening to Rusted Fields.  This is
the best research I've ever had to do;)

This can't be riskier than investing in the tech sector, can it?  I think
I'm onto something here!!!!

I say "amen" to this.  There has also been an idea
floated around that we fans should buy the band some
publicity in a magazine/print format when the new CD
comes out.  Does anyone know how we could get some
online publicity for the band as well?
