I believe the clique, " The shit runs downhill" comes to mind when
answering your ?? concerning some harsh feelings towards TVT, The
Connells should have found success years ago, 'specially w' the success
of REM. From talks with the band, I rem. a talk with George in
particular, (please don't quote me) that they needed the type of
distribution a major label could provide BUT, (There's always a big but

Why am I such a sucker for these desert isle lists?  CDs, books,
whatever, I always get drawn in.  Oh, well, here goes.
 
My original list of 20 or so was heavily weighted with pre-1980
albums, so I arbitrarily concentrated on stuff released from 1980 on.
Also, I cheated -- there are eleven.  I couldn't decide which one to
knock off.  You decide for me.
