Last evening I thoughtlessly sent this listserv an
off-topic post, which was also interpreted as an
attack on Dede.  I accept full responsibility for the
OT-edness of my message and wish to apologize to all
200+ subscribers.  More importantly, I wish to
publically convey my most sincere apologies to Miss
Davis, though no offense was intended and I do hope
none was taken (except by the most homonymally
challenged amongst you).

As I have previously been informed by the list-police
that the following topics are unacceptable subject
matter for my postings: "old" information or requests
for same, urls to current information or request for
same, information regarding the availability of
Connells "collectables", and anything that so much as
hints at "an opinion",  and (now, apparently) humor in
any form (though I do wonder how many Connells it
takes to screw in a light bulb...), and insofar as it
was suggested to me some time ago by a well-connected
list member that "There are people who can post
*anything* they want, and you aren't one of them,"
and since I have found the constraint this places on
my ability to express myself to be abhorrent, I bid
you all an unhappy, regrettable and final adieu.
