I am from Tempe, AZ originally but
live in Washington DC now...I started
listening to the Connells in college
(ASU). I first saw them in Tempe, AZ
(Club Aylsum). My friends (August
Red) played warm up for them..
interestly enough, half of August Red
are now the Refreshments.. Anywho,
It seems like everytime I go home, I
hear the Connells on the radio.. I
always thought they got much more air
time in Tempe, than they do here.. I
don't know, what do you think?  They
certainly had a huge following when I
was back in Arizona.

Hello. :-)
I'm surprised that there wasn't more
comment on the  "accidental post" by
the radio station in  SLC.  Maybe I'm
just "Connell Deprived" out here in
Arizona.  I just hope the guys decide to
visit the West soon; all of you
easterners are spoiled :-) by having the
Connells within a few states.
I'm from VA, but didn't get into the
guys until college.....
 
Just thought I'd add in my $.02.
