list. If you were stranded on a desert isle, what 10 albums would you
want with you?  Here's mine:
 
OK, that's an intriguing thread here goes:
 
1. U2 - Achtung Baby - Joshua Tree was great, but THIS is the album that
changed rock music.
2. Radiohead - the bends - I'm still not tired of this one
3. the Connells - One Simple Word - the best American power pop band
4. Guadalcanal Diary - 2x4 - GD is simply amazing, what R.E.M. should
have been. Can't wait to hear a new album from these guys.
5. billy pilgrim - Bloom - these guys are gonna be big stars one day.
6. Hoodoo Gurus - Mars Needs Guitars - I LOVE this album.
7. Matthew Sweet - Girlfriend - a classic
8. The Wonder Stuff - Never Loved Elvis
9. Cracker - the Golden Age
10. the Smithereens - BLown to Smithereens
