Good morning--

Beth and I have adjusted the setting for this listserv. From now on any
subscriber to this list should be able to send out an email to the list,

careers symposium tomorrow. There is also a pdf attached.

October 1 (Saturday) 9 am to 3 pm
Heritage Room of the Shriver Center (third floor)

The Institute of Environmental Sciences is coordinating a symposium   on
Environmental Professional Careers on October 1, (Saturday) from 9   am to
3 pm. in the Heritage Room of the Shriver Center (third floor,   main
ballroom).

Twelve Miami alumni who are practicing environmental professionals   will
discuss their jobs and the backgrounds that got them to their jobs.

There are three panels covering the areas of:
1. Community-based Environmental Planning
2. Smart  Growth and Sustainability
3. Managing Hazards in the Environment and the Workplace.

In addition, representatives of seven environmental companies will be  
available to discuss employment opportunities.

Attached is an agenda.
