Apologies for this nuisance. This meeting request was sent by my ical twice last spring, even though I'm not the organizer and it occurred months ago. I turned on this account in iCal again to do some cleanup and out the invitation immediately went AGAIN. Sorry for the confusion - especially to those who replied that they are coming!! 

The worst kind of bug is one that sends wrong email to lots of people. And you can bet neither Apple nor Microsoft will own this one.
