Inspired by the Art Museum's exhibit, "Telling a People's Story: African American Children's Illustrated Literature", five first-year Bridges Scholars students have written children e-books as a creative work for my UNV 171 (FYRE) class. Each students' e-book is focused on a diversity related topic of their own choosing. Students completed an annotated bibliography and a mini research project in preparation for writing their e-books.

I would like to invite you to their Poster Presentation at the Undergraduate Research Forum on Wednesday, April 25, 10am - 11:30am in Shriver Center, John Dolibois Room.

A special thanks to Dr. Brenda Dales (EHS), Lori Chapin (Library), Elias Tzoc (Library), and Cynthia Collins (Art Museum) all of whom assisted with this project.

Feel free to share with others who might be interested.

Thanks,

Monica Adkins
