Title: Jonathan Safran Foer: Reading Between the Lines
When: Tuesday, November 16, 2010 at 7:00pm

Author of the novels Everything Is Illuminated (2002) and Extremely Loud and
Incredibly Close (2005), as well as the non-fiction book Eating Animals
(2009), he will be addressing his literature and his inspiration behind the
books.  This will include mainly two topics:

1) his trip to post-Soviet Ukraine and experience with cultural diversity,
and his Jewish background
2) his recent activism -- animal rights and the farming system in America
