Students:

As you know, the Journalism Program and Havighurst Center for Russian 
and Post-Soviet Studies will host "Russian Journalism Under Fire" next 
Monday and Tuesday, April 2-3, at Marcum Conference Center. If you will 
be attending some or all of the sessions -- either as a class 
assignment or for your own education -- I would encourage you to visit 
the conference Web site at 
www.muohio.edu/havighurstcenter/journalism.htm for very good background 
on the speakers and their topics. The blog should be particularly 
useful in bringing you up to speed on major events in politics and 
journalism in Russia.

Additionally, we are offering a limited number of seats to the 
conference dinner (Monday 6 p.m.) and lunch (Tuesday noon). Please send
