Miami Computing & Information Services (MCIS) wishes to acknowledge
a problem with NetNews on the DEC OpenVMS system in Oxford (MiaVX1)
which was discovered and corrected earlier today.
 
     Due to a disk allocation problem, NetNews temporarily posted articles
with header information but no text.  This resulted in an error message:
 
                 Display - Cannot access item text
 
when any attempt was made to read the article.
 
     This problem affected only NetNews articles posted through MiaVX1,
and has been corrected.
 
     MCIS regrets any inconvenience this shortlived glitch may have caused.
