What's making the Vax move so slow today? WHO says we only have 52
users. But I've seen the Alpha run faster with a load more than twice as high.
Perhaps someone is trying to calculate Pi to infinite precision. :)
        It now takes a few seconds to get into the editor, mail, or news. And
it takes about five seconds to load each individual news post from
nntp.muohio.edu.
        I hope nothing is majorly wrong. It just surprises me to see this
behavior in the summer time.
