vms system  STREAM down

this morning around 9:00 am the vms system  STREAM crashed. At the present MCIS Technical Support is working on the problem.

Services affected : world wide web,news, interactive telenet batch jobs, helpdesk software ,POP mail, PH.  All mail will be queued and delivered when the connection is re-establshed.

STREAM Machine is back up as of this writing.  DEC is running online test, while the machine is running as normal in addition to the test being run.  The test DEC is running may slow down the production down,but this should be insignificant.  The NOC will update this as required.
