Today Cincinnati Bell replaced another card that fixed the first
channel on our T1 spans. John Harlan posted the typical symptoms of a
misconfigured T1 channel. This is the same problem that afflicted the previous 6
lines diagnosed last week, just a little harder to find since it is the very
first channel in the 737-2120 hunt group.

About modem speeds: I get these speeds when I dial from within
Hamilton, however if I dial from Oxford the speed drops to 26.4, 21.6 and speeds
of this ilk. Cincinnati Bell says they are in the process of upgrading the
equipment in their CO by January, hopefully this will help connections that do
not originate in Hamilton.

I thoroughly disapprove of duels. If a man should
challenge me, I would take him kindly and forgivingly
by the hand and lead him to a quiet place and kill him.
