I was wondering if anybody could give me the commands to silence
my modem when it dials, gets a busy signal etc., basically
something to shut it up until I'm connected or silent period.

I've seent his feature in various software packages...
But I also know it can be done on Hayes compatible modems (which mine
is).

Please send any help to me e-mail....

Thanks,

(If it helps, I'm using a Gateway 2000 Colorbook, with a PCMCIA fax/
modem 14.4 (they say something about telepath on it)).
