Trying for the January 100..
I hit a few spots along the Ohio River today from Proctorville to Gallipolis in hopes of some waterfowl. Not a lot to be found, but added a couple to the New Year List. Highlights included:
(2) Pintail-Pville Park
(1) Bufflehead- Indian Guyan Ramp
(1) GW Teal- Hecla WTP Athalia
(97) Cowbird & (1) Palm Warbler- Miller Cemetery
(53) Black Vulture- Downtown Gallipolis
A flock of 25-30 American Pipit in a cow pasture near Raccoon Creek just north of Gallipolis Dam.
Ohio total is at 82. Would be nice to hit 100 without any major traveling. :)
Hoping for some waterfowl soon down here in lowly Lawrence County..
