The Office of Institutional Research at the University of Cincinnati is
accepting applications for a full-time position of research associate.

Primary responsibilities include: Assist in the design, collection,
reporting, analysis and presentation of research studies to increase the
reporting capabilities of the office; conduct survey research analysis and
report writing using proprietary and internally developed survey instruments
to support university assessment needs; assist in the implementation of
statistical model building process such as researching, assessing and
predicting recruitment/retention and enrollment to support university budget
planning needs.; assist in the significant effort necessary to re-program
existing reports, to provide the campus community with more accurate timely
information; assist in developing Web based queries and surveys; respond to
ad hoc requests; query HEI databases; assist in Peer Institution Analysis an
benchmarking activities through querying state and national databases;
prepare extensive reports, including narratives, tables and graphs.

Min. Quals.: Bachelors degree in statistics, mathematics, information
systems, computer science or a relevant field; excellent working knowledge
of SAS; 2 yrs. Of relevant work experience as well as exp. with Microsoft
programs such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint, and exp. in programming using
SQL or other data base languages. The ideal candidate will have previous
exp. in an institutional research department and Web design exp.
