Ohio Institutional Research and Planning Colleagues,

I have recently taken on the responsibility of serving
as Associate Editor for the Association for Institutional
Research's (AIR) Resources in Institutional Research
book series. AIR members will be familiar with this as
the series of short monographs that are sent to AIR members
approximately once per year with titles such as "A
Primer on Institutional Research," "Questionnaire Survey
Research," and (most recently) "Effective Reporting."
Future plans for this series include periodic updates of
some of the "classics" as well as publication of monographs
on new topics. I'd like to take this opportunity to ask
the OAIRP membership for its input on ideas for new issues.
What additional topics would you like to see included in
this series of practitioner-oriented IR books? Please let
me know your thoughts at your convenience. Thanks.

Bill Knight
1999-2000 OAIRP President
