Cornell University allows smoking in student rooms in residence halls
but not in public spaces. Academic building smoking limited to
designated smoking areas which have to meet a certain set of criteria
including minimum air flow requirements. There are few if any indoor
areas that meet this requirement so most building are effectively no
smoking areas.
