Hi Rodney:
I won't be taking part this fall. As such, would you mind removing me from the list, please?
I thoroughly enjoyed taking part in the project last spring and wish all of the current partners the best of success.
Sincerely,
Bruce K. Friesen, Ph.D.
Assoc. Prof., Sociology

Subject: Getting Started
Dear Partners:
As many of us are gearing up for the fall offering of Globalization, Social Justice, and Human Rights we need to confirm which University's are going to be on board for the Fall. Please fill out the Participation form below. Also, based upon feedback from last year, we will be handling both the blogs and the group projects significantly differently this fall. Specifically, in order to streamline the blogs (and the anticipated 100+ new blogs each week) we will be asking that all blogs individually posted on the respective Group pages for each University. Then, from these weekly blogs -please select 1 each week that will be featured under the FEATURED BLOG tab. These FEATURED BLOGS will be the ones that all students will read and respond to. This will cut down on the extremely chaotic blog.
For the Group Projects (both service learning and case studies): We will be establishing sequential completion dates for major portions of the projects. These will allow for the monitoring that was sorely missing during our pilot phase. Also, we will be assigning Faculty Partners to explicitly monitor specific groups to ensure that the projects develop in a reasonable fashion and students are held accountable.
Please let us know if indeed you be joining. Here is the list of confirmed Partners and their level of participation .
