I share with you a message from Wiesiek Oleksy, the instructor at
the University of Lodz, Poland, who is anxious to have his students
work with U.S. student partners on the final project. Unfortunately,
there is a logistical problem that will delay their joining due to
their Easter break vacation. He is suggesting our students take the
intiative directly to his students and/or him. He will attempt to
facilitate the partners and so I recommend he be contacted either
directly or minimally copied if messages are sent to students.

Thanks. I was to let you know that I "re-discovered" INTRODUCTIONS. The
time difference is a problem. I am reading your message right after the
classes and I can't do much about the final project before the next
meeting which, unfortunately, will take two weeks bacause we're having
Easter Break. But you will meet your students today so perhaps you might
suggest that they take initiative and get in touch with my students and
suggest areas of interest. All of them have by now introduced
themselves.Another solution will be for your students to send me a list of
topics/areas they are planning to work on and I'll try to find partners
among my students.
It would be very useful to have a special thread/section devoted
exclusively for the purposes of the final project. I don't know, however,
whether this is possible.
Have a good time in Pisa. Wiesiek
