By the way, for MPI over Gig-E, this is a command to clean up left over 
processes.
cluster-fork /opt/mpich/gnu/sbin/cleanipcs

This would require password-less ssh to work.
Aborting a Gig-E MPI job sometimes leaves a lot of shared memory.
