Robin,
I'm trying to work with a lot of files and have run into a bash or OS
limitation. When I try a command that works with a wildcard file spec, e.g.,
ls, wc, cat, etc., I get the error "Argument list too long". Searching on
the Web shows that the system has a limit of ARG_MAX arguments, which is
131072. Unless there are reasons not to, could you bump this up, say to
500000?
Thanks.
Greg
