Hello Matt,
I'm Jon Patton and I have done Goodness of Fit tests of data with the Poisson distribution using SAS. I could meet with you this Thursday afternoon at 2PM in my office (354 Gaskill) to discuss a similar test of your data to the IG distribution. If this time is not suitable, we can set up another time.

Jon

Hi,

I'm working with a grad student here over in the ECE dept, and we recently ran into a problem trying to run a goodness of fit test with an unknown distribution to the inverse Gaussian (IG) distribution. I am wondering if there is anyone (maybe Gary Patton) who might have expertise on how to do such a problem. If so, we wanted to make an appt to come over and discuss the problem and get your advice on how to proceed. Monday is bad for me, but the remainder of the week in the afternoon (except Friday 2-4) should be fine.

Thank-you,

Matt Brenneman
