memory on test cluster

I have found a difference between the redhawk cluster and the test cluster.

If I request 3 GB of RAM within my job (It is done in the input file %MEM=3GB)
the job aborts:

galloc: could not allocate memory

I know we have 4 GB RAM .

Any ideas?
