The 28th top 500 list is out. Remember 18 months ago redhawk
would have been in about 400th place (1.3 TFLOPs).

The current list shows that the computer site at 500th place
has a computer power close to 2.8 TFLOPs. Six months
ago the computer site at 500th place had ~2.0 GFLOPs. I can see a lot
more universities with huge systems. Georgia Tech, ISU, Harvard,
Princeton, BYU, Mississippi State, Boston U, NC, Florida, Vanderbilt
No small systems from Dell made it to the list ( less than 800 nodes)
