I would like to apologize for not being prepared enough to answer some
of the questions posed at the discussion tonight. I didn't realize that
I would be asked to quote the Bible. But for those who are interested, I
do have some other literature, including papal encyclicals and official
declarations on issues of sexual ethics, abortion, euthanasia, respect
for human life in general, bioethics, and even the condition of the
working classes, which may appeal to you Democrats out there! Also, for
any questions concerning the Church's position on just about anything,
the best website I have found is:

http://www.cwo.com/~pentrack/catholic/apolo.html and
http://www.columbia.edu/cu/augustine/a/faq-cc.html

Thank you, and I would be more than willing to look into any other
questions anyone might have. This is one of those issues which needs to
continue to be discussed even outside of a semi-formal panel discussion.

Dave S.
