Hello Students,
As many of you know, our DIBELS assessments at Living Water Ministries
after-school program are rolling right along...Thanks to the folks who
have assisted this week!!  We will be completing the assessments next
Monday and likely Thursday (Oct 2nd and 5th) and would love any help that
we can get!  If you are able to assist, please contact Brianna
([log in to unmask]) or Patty ([log in to unmask]) for more information and
carpooling options.  Actual assessing is from 4-5, but plan on getting
there by 3:30.

This newly established partnership between the School Psychology Program
and Living Water Ministries will greatly enhance our students' experiences
in serving diverse populations, as the population at LW is primarily
Hispanic (75%) and low SES.  The Partnership will include service, class,
and research projects and focus on providing LW with fall and spring
DIBELS benchmark data to evaluate the after-school program, as well as
pre-literacy intervention for bilingual children (Patty's thesis). 
Attached is a partnership proposal.  We hope to include more thesis
research in the future and would be happy to talk with any interested
students.
