Hi all,
I know I have mentioned this to most of the 2nd years, but I wanted to
make sure all of you heard about this great opportunity.
My counseling supervisor is organizing a Saturday "Life Skills" program
for middle school students in Hamilton. Most of the day's events will be
ran by Hamilton High School students. We are looking for volunteers to
assist with small group activities and attend the day's events. A bunch
of us went last year and it was a really positive experience. It is
really encouraging to see kids helping kids.
There will be a speaker who's life was changed from a drunk driving
accident, large group self-esteem building exercises, small group
discussions, a high school band performance (band like singer and bass
guitar, not band like trombone and sax), outstanding skits performed by
high school students, and FREE LUNCH.

Can you think of anything better to do on Saturday, March 12th? I can't.

Please let me know if you can help out with this event.

Thanks,
Deanna
