Students, 

Many of us in education remain deeply troubled about both bullying the repeated incidents of school violence, and now in Chardon we have witnessed yet another tragedy. I do not believe we can attribute the Chardon tragedy off to bullying alone - there appear to be, as there so often are, very complex circumstances surrounding the actions of this disturbed young man. 
It does, however, bring up the ubiquitous topic of bullying, a topic we as educators need to take very seriously.
