The Butler County Human Services Council, in cooperation with the Institute
for Ed Renewal and others, is sponsoring a one-day conference called
"Direct Connect: Developing Linkages to Better Meet Human Needs" on Friday,
September 19, 8:30-3:30 at Wilks Conference Center, MU-Hamilton.
 
Speakers: Terry Grundy, founder, Xavier's Institute for Community Capicity
Building and Carl Upchurch, founder, Pittsburgh's Council for Urban Peace
and Justice.
 
Sessions: Promoting Volunteerism, Positive Leadership, Program
Assessment/Evaulation, and Promoting Unity through Collaboration
 
Randy Flora and Nancy Yoder will be on panels for two sessions,
representing the Institute.
