These sessions will explore how gender roles are formed, general developmental issues, and educational values that all come into play when working with families of different religious backgrounds. Clergy and religious leaders will also share social justice expectations within their churches. Each session date in this series will feature different local leaders representing different religious values and customs. Session One will include a brief overview that will explore the value religion has in families' everyday lives and the constraints professionals may feel, especially when working for a public institution. This three part series will enable participants to better implement the right resources to effectively support families. Participants are welcome to attend as many of the different sessions as they deem appropriate.
