WHAT: Girl Scout Engineering Day volunteers
         Workshop leaders, guides, and lunch crew needed
WHEN: 9:30 am - 4:30 pm, Satruday, November 6, 1999
WHERE: Kreger Hall
  WHY: To encourage young women to pursue the sciences.
       To have fun!

Award winning Girl Scout Engineering Day was started by manufacturing
students at Miami.  Several interactive-workshops are directed at 4-6 grade
girls:

*build bridges (toothpicks and marshmellows)
*build remote control cars (lego dacta kits)
*make plastic (gluep - similar to slime)
*control robots
*surf internet (AWC)
*making paper (TAPPI)
