11-12: David Madden: David Madden, founding director of the United
States Civil War Center, discusses the enduring fascination so many
Americans have with the Civil War.  He is editor of a new book,
"Beyond the Battlefield" (Touchstone), about what daily life was
really like for the average Civil War soldier.
