The Diane Rehm Show, 10-12 noon (*2 full hours live on WMUB)

10-11: President Clinton: Wednesday afternoon, Diane sat down in the
Oval Office for a conversation with President Clinton. They talked
about trade with China, his role in this year's campaigns and
elections, what he'll miss most about living in the White House, and
much more.
(PLEASE NOTE: This is a pre-recorded interview. In the final
20 minutes of the program, Diane will take calls in an open phones
format.)

11-12: Gun Control Critics: The Million Mom March scheduled for
Mother's Day will advocate more gun control, but it won't speak for
all women or all mothers. A group called Second Amendment Sisters
will also be on the national Mall to voice their support of
Americans' rights to keep and bear arms. A panel talks about the
flaws they see in proposals to restrict access to guns.
Guests: John Lott, Yale University Law School; Melinda
Gierisch, Virginia coordinator for Second Amendment Sisters; David
Kopel, Independence Institute and associate policy analyst at the
Cato Institute

Fresh Air with Terry Gross, 12:06-1 p.m.

South African journalist Charlene Smith tells her story. She was
raped, then became an activist, pushing for legal and medical reforms
in her country, where rape and H-I-V statistics are extraordinarily
high.

For tapes and transcripts of Fresh Air, call Toll-Free 1-(877)-21-FRESH.
