The last recording of a blues piano legend. Otis Spann began
his recording career with Muddy Waters in the early 1950's. He
performed on some of the most famous Waters recordings. In 1960, he
began releasing solo records, and was later called the "finest blues
pianist to be heard anywhere." In 1970, he played a concert at the
Boston Teaparty blues club that would be his last. It was recorded,
but the tape of the performance was lost... until now.
